ELES is the combined transmission and distribution system operator of the Republic of Slovenia. ELES is the backbone of the Slovenian electric power industry and a guardian of the Slovenian electric power system. Its key responsibility is the safe and reliable operation of the electric power system. It interconnects all the main actors in the Slovenian electric power transmission network: power plants, five distribution companies, direct customers, which offtake electricity from the transmission network, and larger consumers with the status of a closed distribution system.

SI-CERT
The Slovenian Computer Emergency Response Team, established in 1995, is an organisational unit of the public institute ARNES (Academic and Research Network of Slovenia). SI-CERT is the national response centre for handling incidents related to the security of electronic networks and information. It provides advice and assistance in resolving issues related to the safe use of computers and secure internet access, resolves incidents, coordinates incident resolution, offers technical advice in case of breaches, issues warnings to network administrators and the wider public about current threats on electronic networks.
THE GOVERNMENT INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICE OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA (URSIV)
The Government Information Security Office of the Republic of Slovenia (URSIV) is the national competent authority in the field of cybersecurity. It connects stakeholders in the national cyber security system and coordinates the operational capabilities at a strategic level. It is also the single point of contact for cross-border cooperation. URSIV is responsible for the preparation and implementation of national cybersecurity strategy and cybersecurity legislation.

ELEKTRO GORENJSKA
Elektro Gorenska is one of 5 Slovenian distribution companies, supplying about 10% of the population. EG has its own distribution infrastructure which allows it to host a diverse variety of pilot project and participation in the project consortiums.
With an ongoing modernisation of the network, EG keep the lead in reliability of the network.
ELEKTRO CELJE
Elektro Celje is an electricity distribution company with long-standing tradition. It is one of the five distribution companies in Slovenia, and it is the owner of the distribution network which covers approximately 22 % of the entire country. It has a contract on leasing infrastructure and providing services of an electricity distribution network system operator with ELES, d.o.o. for conducting public-service activities of an electricity distribution network system operator. Elektro Celje performs many activities related to monitoring, planning, development, and safe operation of its distribution network to provide reliable supply of electric power in its area of coverage. Elektro Celje is amongst others interested in driving technological and regulatory developments in Smart Grids, thus it is active in relevant industrial and R&D initiatives, such as the national chapters of the Smart Grids Technology Platform and CIGRÉ/CIRED.

Elektro Primorska is a company with the core activity of operating, developing and maintaining electricity distribution system in the western part of Slovenia – from Adriatic Sea, to Postojna Cave and Kanin.

Elektro Ljubljana is part of Slovenia’s electric power grid, and the largest of five electricity distribution companies in the country.
